Job Description

Waverly Advisors, LLC is seeking a Financial Planner to deliver comprehensive financial planning services to clients from an onsite location in Zionsville, IN. The role emphasizes thorough client assessment, tailored planning, and proactive support to optimize the client experience and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments to capture goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences, collecting essential financial information.
  • Create customized financial plans and budgets aligned with clients' objectives, integrating investment strategy, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, and risk management to reach targets.
  • Review clients' financial documents such as income, expenses, and liabilities to prepare planning deliverables under advisor guidance.
  • Prepare, assemble, and summarize planning materials using financial planning software.
  • Work with clients to implement plans and monitor progress, adjusting as needed.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulations, and industry best practices to deliver timely and accurate guidance.
  • Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and support.
  • Educate clients on planning concepts to boost financial literacy and enable informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver holistic financial planning solutions for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial planning role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a special emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of financial data and comply with regulations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to empathize and a strong desire to serve external clients and internal team members.

Physical Requirements

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • One to five years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with financial planning software such as Money Guide Pro, e-Money, or Right Capital.
  • Emoney experience strongly preferred.
  • CFP Certification strongly preferred; if not held, willingness to obtain CFP Certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
