Job Description

Work onsite in Atlanta, GA supporting a Private Advisor team within Rockefeller Global Family Office. This Financial Planning and Investment Associate role combines comprehensive wealth planning strategy support with high-touch client service, partnering with advisors and investment professionals to help deliver a seamless client experience.

You will contribute across planning work and day-to-day engagement, including coordinating with clients and external professionals, preparing client-ready materials, and helping ensure timely account and servicing activity. The team emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and consistent communication to keep planning initiatives moving forward.

What you’ll do

  • Support advisors in developing and implementing wealth planning strategies covering estate, tax, retirement, philanthropy, and wealth transfer planning.
  • Prepare client meeting materials, financial analyses, planning summaries, and follow-up deliverables.
  • Collect and organize financial information and planning documentation to support client recommendations.
  • Coordinate with clients and external professionals, including attorneys, accountants, and trustees, to assist with planning initiatives.
  • Participate in client meetings and help track planning action items and implementation progress.
  • Act as a day-to-day contact for client service needs, responding to inquiries and coordinating requests in a timely manner.
  • Handle client account activities such as account openings, maintenance requests, asset transfers, money movement, and related tasks.
  • Prepare and review account documentation, investment subscription paperwork, and other required forms.
  • Assist with cash management requests, distributions, and account servicing activities.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure information is updated across firm systems.
  • Support business development and relationship management by helping prepare presentations, proposals, and client communications.
  • Partner closely with advisors, investment professionals, and client associates to support a seamless client experience.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses, or willingness to obtain.
  • 2+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, private banking, family office, or client service preferred.
  • Experience with eMoney financial planning software is a plus.
  • CFP designation or progress toward certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of wealth planning concepts and investment fundamentals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workflow, including managing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
