Job Description

New York Life Insurance Company is seeking a Financial Professional in Boise, Idaho to help individuals protect what matters and plan for long-term financial goals while building an independent practice as a career agent. The role combines client development through networking and referrals with ongoing training, coaching, and access to sales and marketing resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a client base through networking, referrals, and community involvement
  • Build client relationships and support key financial decisions, including retirement, protection, and education planning
  • Provide tailored insurance and financial product solutions
  • Expand knowledge and capabilities through training and real-world experience
  • Use available sales, prospecting, and marketing tools to attract and retain clients through web, social, and email content
  • Support estate planning, business solutions, or pursue leadership opportunities
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals and benefit from institutional knowledge and proven best practices

  • Interest in long-term learning and growth beyond a short-term role

Compensation & Work Model

This is a full-time position with pay of $117,359.00 per year. The work location is hybrid remote in Boise, ID 83702.

Compensation is commission-based, and income varies based on individual agent performance. In 2024, the average income of financial professionals under the N8 and N9 Agent’s Contract who met annual minimum sales production requirements was $120,555.

Training, Support, and Career Path
