Job Description
Bank of America is seeking a Financial Solutions Advisor to provide tailored financial guidance and comprehensive planning for clients onsite in Newport Beach, California. The role centers on building financial plans, reviewing objectives, and recommending a range of brokerage products while ensuring compliance with licensing and SAFE Act registration requirements. The position offers a salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per year and supports growth within a dynamic financial services environment.
Overview
As a Financial Solutions Advisor, you will deliver holistic financial advice and custom solutions designed to help clients reach their goals. You will construct and review financial plans, incorporate brokerage offerings such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, along with banking and managed solutions, all while meeting licensing obligations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to define short- and long-term financial objectives by developing a plan that includes brokerage products like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, plus banking and managed solutions.
- Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with the client’s goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and routes them to appropriate internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigate and manage risk as part of daily activities.
- Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or existing financial center clientele.
- Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services.
Requirements
- Currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses; or holds 63 and 65 in lieu of 66. If the 66 is not held but 63 or 65 is, an offer may be extended with the condition that the missing series is passed within 60 days.
- At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.

- Is thorough and thoughtful in incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies.
- Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
Schedule
Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
