Job Description

The Financial Solutions Advisor role supports clients with comprehensive, customized guidance aimed at helping them work toward their short- and long-term financial goals. The position also supports lead management, client-facing consultations, and product recommendations across brokerage and banking solutions.

Location and Schedule

  • Location: West Chester, OH (onsite)
  • Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
  • Hours per week: 40

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building financial plans that may include brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, along with banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned to client financial goals and needs
  • Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
  • Minimum experience: 1 year
  • Currently holds Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66); if the 66 is not currently held but either a 63 or 65 is held, an offer may be extended with the condition of passing the missing series within 60 days
  • At least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Ability to set goals and accomplish them, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and communicate effectively and confidently with clients
  • Capability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort learning, adapting to new information, and seeking appropriate solutions for clients
  • Efficient time and capacity management
  • Thorough approach to incorporating relevant regulatory due diligence into day-to-day activities and long-term client strategies

SAFE Act Registration

This position may be responsible for the provision of residential mortgage loans and is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Required actions include registering and submitting to the required SAFE Act background check. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Additional (Desired) Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Additional professional designations such as CFP and/or CRPC
  • Obtained insurance licenses
