Pricing and Finance Analyst

Pricing and Finance Analyst located in Downers Grove, IL, handling pricing support and FP&A activities with a 60/40 split between pricing and financial planning & analysis.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain pricing records in the ERP pricing module, aligned with contractual provisions and announced price changes
• Compute periodic rebates and perform true-up reconciliations
• Evaluate pricing requests from the commercial team, assess margin impact and competitive positioning, and recommend actions
• Develop pricing proposals for new opportunities and contract renewals
• Collaborate with the Pricing Manager to streamline and automate repetitive pricing workflows
• Prepare monthly materials for the management board deck, consolidating financial summaries, variance analyses, and KPI tracking
• Support monthly close activities
• Maintain and enhance the enterprise revenue model, translating volume forecasts into revenue, cost, and margin projections
• Assist with pricing assumptions during the annual budgeting process
• Analyze financial trends and deliver executive-level summaries highlighting key drivers
• Provide ad hoc analytics to support business growth

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Finance, Economics, Data Analysis or a related quantitative discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, pricing, FP&A, or related analytical roles
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling
• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Team-oriented with comfort interacting across organizational levels
• Familiarity with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is a plus
• Exposure to, or interest in, business intelligence tools and AI/automation tools is highly valued
