Job Description
Stellantis is seeking a Purchasing Finance Analyst to join its Purchasing Finance Team onsite in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The role centers on end-to-end management of supplier restructuring claims, combining financial analysis with governance to support settlement decisions.
You will collaborate with Internal Audit and subject-matter experts to develop initial estimates and help define OEM counter-positions as part of the strategy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate supplier claims to determine gross exposure, the structure of the claim, and whether financial details are complete.
- Assist with triaging and routing claims based on value, cost type, and the audit team required.
- Prepare initial internal estimates and help define OEM counter-positions in collaboration with Internal Audit and subject-matter experts.
- Analyze historical settlement patterns, precedent details, and supplier behavior to inform strategic direction.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit to gather evidence, validate costs, and build should-cost analyses.
- Maintain consistency among audit conclusions, financial exposure caps, and the negotiated strategy.
- Model settlement scenarios, evaluate payment timing options, and assess their impact on P&L and cash flow.
- Support leadership and Steer-Co reporting on claim progress, risks, and financial impact.
- Review closing documentation for settlements, side agreements, and audit closure memos to ensure approvals are reflected.
- Support post-settlement activities including finance handover, payment tracking, and archiving of records.
- Support rollout and ongoing improvement of the target claims management and audit process.
- Contribute to standard templates, trackers, and reporting frameworks used across the team.
- Capture lessons learned and best practices to strengthen future claim handling and prevent new-award issues.
