ALTEN Technology USA is hiring an Engineering Finance Analyst / Engineering Cost Controller for on-site work in Auburn Hills, Michigan, to manage indirect ER&D spending, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across multiple programs in collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Product Finance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the finance point of contact for all indirect ER&D expenses across multiple programs.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Product Finance to manage and control indirect spending that supports approved programs.
- Co-own the development, reporting, and tracking of budgeted, actual, and forecasted spending for assigned programs with the Engineering team.
- Partner closely with Engineering Operations teams as a direct business counterpart.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA is acceptable if the candidate lacks a Finance or Accounting bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience in business unit budgeting and forecasting.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple work streams simultaneously.
- Ability to deliver high-priority requests in a timely manner and provide a clear direction for deliverables.

SAP, OneStream, HFM, Essbase, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Qlik, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
