Job Description

Within JPMorgan Chase’s Offers & Shopping Finance team, the Senior Associate in Financial Analysis focuses on FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range modeling to guide strategic decisions and deliver clear reporting to senior leadership. This role combines financial discipline with opportunity identification, supporting the Offers & Shopping business while pursuing continuous process improvements. Candidates typically bring 4+ years of Financial Services experience and hold a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the FP&A cycle for the Offers & Shopping business, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and present executive-level materials to support month-end close processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to evaluate and implement new business opportunities, leveraging market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to inform decisions.
  • Monitor KPIs, delivering regular updates and insights to leadership to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance, partnering with risk, audit, and other control functions as needed to maintain the integrity of financial processes and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a technically oriented field.
  • 4+ years of work experience in Financial Services with a background in Finance, Business Management, Planning & Analysis, Accounting/Controller or similar fields.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with data mining and manipulation of data sets.
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management.
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
