Job Description
Senior Field Financial Analyst role at Abbott Laboratories, onsite in Austin, TX, focusing on sales revenue and margin forecasting, monthly performance packages, and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end sales analysis and generate concise variance commentary
- Evaluate P&L performance, identifying key drivers and variances
- Lead field-level forecasting discussions and complete actuals variance analysis
- Present finance results weekly on commercial leadership calls
- Provide ad hoc financial and business analysis to the EP LAA business unit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles
- Strong financial modeling skills using Excel and forecasting tools
- Solid understanding of P&L and key financial metrics
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities

The Opportunity
This position is based in Austin, TX within Abbott’s Electrophysiology Left Atrial Appendage Medical Device division. The EP LAA business focuses on advancing treatment for heart disease and reducing ischemic stroke risk through innovative atrial fibrillation technologies, helping patients restore health and resume daily activities.
Compensation
- Salary: USD 78,000 - 156,000 per year
