Job Description
Build trusted, high-touch relationships as an independent contractor helping military families pursue long-term financial clarity. This onsite role in Tyrone, GA combines personalized planning with a client service model designed to strengthen confidence, support informed decisions, and help you grow through referrals and sustained engagement. Performance goals are supported through a focus on revenue generation and long-term client relationships.
What you’ll do
- Identify and adapt to each client’s evolving financial goals across wealth accumulation, preservation, and legacy.
- Meet regularly with clients to review current circumstances, monitor progress, and adjust plans based on life events, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Create and implement advanced, personalized financial strategies tailored to the unique needs of military families, including investment management, retirement income planning, tax strategies, insurance solutions, day-to-day finances, and estate considerations.
- Maintain long-term relationships through a service approach that prioritizes clarity, confidence, and responsiveness.
- Build trust by delivering consistent value and guidance that supports well-informed client decisions.
- Develop relationships with advocates and centers of influence in the local and military community to generate referrals and related opportunities.
- Work toward performance goals by delivering individualized strategies, generating revenue, and deepening long-term client engagement.
- Expand your practice through referral networks, with an emphasis on the military community, while also identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services, with a strong record of building and retaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in portfolio and wealth management, including the ability to integrate financial products into a long-term planning strategy.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with clients and earn trust through meaningful, long-term engagement.
- Drive and discipline to run an independent business, with flexible hours and income potential tied to commissions and performance-based incentives.
- Military experience or affiliation is strongly preferred.
Licensing & certifications
- Required: Series 7 & 66 (or 6, 63, 65) and Life & Health license
- Preferred: CFP®, ChFC®, or RICP® designations
