Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Dig into historical details, review logs, and map past actions to identify streamlined processes for the future.
• Explain variances between actual and forecast results, evaluate expenses, justify spend, and analyze the drivers behind trends and ratios.
• Capture insights from cross‑functional meetings and interactions to connect the dots and form a broader perspective.
• Reverse engineer workflows to design more efficient processes.
• Design queries and map relationships between datasets using AI, SQL, and related tools.
• Create internal board packets and financial statements for key executives.
• Engage with executives and other important external stakeholders to convey findings clearly.
• Provide mentorship or coaching to interns or other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, or Business Analytics.
• A GPA you are proud to list on your resume.
• Internship or work experience earned during college.
• Two to five years of professional experience after graduation with progressive responsibilities or promotions.
• Evidence of implemented process improvements in a current role.
• Experience mentoring or coaching interns or teammates.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interactions with executives and external stakeholders.
