Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst role sits within the FP&A group, providing support to Corporate leadership and the Thermoforming division. Based onsite in Addison, IL, this position emphasizes in-depth analysis, operational and financial reporting, and backing strategic decision-making through collaboration with plant management, the Controller group, and corporate leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual planning cycle and forecast process to align targets with strategic objectives.
  • Provide cost center reporting, analysis, and capital spending insights to corporate and shared-service leaders.
  • Contribute to board-level presentations and select special projects as required.
  • Evaluate actual profitability by job against established standards and quoted estimates to inform pricing and performance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement at the job or product level through data-driven analysis.
  • Deliver daily operational dashboards and analyses to drive performance insights for the Thermoforming division.
  • Perform root-cause analyses on inventory and net working capital, identifying drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Thermoforming plant management on inventory valuation and resolve inconsistencies in financial results.
  • Support monthly close activities with the Controller group, including accruals, reserves, and standard cost entries.
  • Review capital expenditure requests for the Thermoforming division with a focus on ROI and cash flow impact.
  • Oversee data governance for the financial consolidation system used in reporting (Datarails).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Power BI, and Datarails is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
