Senior Financial Analyst
Job Description
DreamHost, LLC is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in Fullerton, CA for an onsite role. This position focuses on analyzing revenue trends, forecasting future performance, and turning results into insights that help stakeholders make better decisions across the business.
In addition to traditional financial analysis and modeling, the role includes building and operating AI-enabled finance workflows that automate recurring work, with a strong emphasis on output validation and process controls. You will partner with product, marketing, and accounting to keep revenue tracking and forecasting aligned.
What you’ll do
- Analyze revenue trends by product, region, and market segment.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable AI agent skills to automate recurring finance tasks such as revenue analysis, forecasting, variance commentary, reporting, and international pricing research.
- Ensure accuracy of AI-generated outputs by validating results, documenting processes, and conducting human review before stakeholder delivery.
- Develop revenue forecasts and perform variance analysis comparing actual results versus projections.
- Create and present regular financial and revenue reports to senior management.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the organization’s financial health.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and accounting teams to align revenue-related processes and goals.
- Support pricing strategy development and assessment, with a focus on international markets to optimize revenue.
- Track and report KPIs related to revenue generation.
- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and inform pricing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in revenue analysis, financial analysis, or a related area.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, financial modeling, data analysis tools, and SQL database querying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Demonstrated experience building and using AI agent skills or workflows to automate multi-step financial tasks (examples include Claude Skills, custom GPTs, and Copilot agents).
- Ability to explain what was built, how it was tested, and what controls were put in place.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across functions.
Preferred experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with Python or similar tools for data work and automation.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Experience with subscription revenue models and related metrics.

Compensation and benefits
Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year.
