Job Description

The North Shore Glaucoma Center is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to help translate financial data into actionable insight for strategic planning. This hybrid role in Lemoore, CA focuses on forecasting, performance analysis, and clear communication of results that support day-to-day and long-range decisions.

Role focus

In this position, you will build and maintain financial projection models, budgets, and forecasts, then evaluate profit and loss (P&L) results and variances. You will also prepare and interpret financial statements and reporting packages, including regulatory reporting, and document findings in concise financial report writing to inform planning and corporate finance priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial projection models, budgets, and forecasts; analyze P&L results and variance drivers.
  • Prepare and interpret financial statements, management reports, and regulatory reporting; explain outcomes clearly through written financial reports.
  • Conduct account analysis, cost accounting, pricing, and investment analysis to support financial planning and corporate finance decisions.
  • Use Excel, business intelligence tools, accounting systems, and financial reporting software to validate data and identify trends.
  • Apply GAAP, IFRS, and SOX controls as relevant to accounting standards and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Finance or accounting knowledge, including financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial statement preparation and interpretation, and variance analysis reporting.
  • Strong quantitative and data analysis skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts and reports clearly.
  • Experience in corporate accounting, corporate finance, public accounting, financial sales, or financial management.
  • Familiarity with technical accounting, financial accounting, financial software, regulatory reporting, and financial model development.
  • Exposure to strategic planning, cost accounting, investment analysis, and accounting standards or controls including GAAP, IFRS, and SOX.
