UnitedHealthcare is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen financial reporting, planning, and analysis that help business leaders improve profitability and cost efficiencies. This role is based in Minnetonka, MN (remote), with flexible work within the U.S. and a comprehensive benefits package including incentive and recognition programs, an equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility requirements).

What you’ll do

Develop, perform, and manage analyses of business and financial metrics, including performance measures
Create and maintain financial reports that clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances against plan, forecast, and budget
Own financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across all relevant aspects
Partner with business leaders by building relationships to support financial planning and performance measurement through reporting and analysis
Develop, recommend, and establish strategies, plans, and processes with the business to improve profitability and cost efficiencies

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or a related financial role
Experience collaborating in a matrix environment to drive business performance
Experience anticipating accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and operational issues, assessing implications, and developing and implementing an appropriate action plan
Advanced MS Excel skills and strong capability with the MS Office product suite

Remote work expectations

Work remotely from anywhere within the United States
For hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week

Pay and timeline

Salary range: $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment.
