Kraft Heinz Company invites you to join our Springfield, Missouri plant as a Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan, updating product cost standards (raw and pack yields, master recipes), bridging cost changes and preparing AOP schedules
  • Oversee weekly and monthly cost reporting, developing and distributing reports to unit and plant manufacturing management
  • Analyze variances to target for direct expenses and provide detailed variance reports and KPI breakdowns to unit and plant management
  • Identify and initiate process improvements in financial planning and reporting systems
  • Identify and quantify savings surfaced by Continuous Improvement and Production teams, ensuring 4 Site values are current and reflect the unit’s best thinking
  • Lead and assist with the month-end close process
  • Conduct various financial analysis and scenario studies
  • Ensure completion of month-end close requirements (journal entries, SAP, FAC Review) and monthly reporting with driver analysis
  • Provide oversight and auditing of operational BOM accuracy throughout the year
  • Contribute to the plant leadership team, including training and feedback to users of financial information and support of frontline leaders
  • Establish and maintain internal controls aligned with corporate requirements and best practices; ensure inventory controls are effective
  • Provide leadership for financial integrity, strong controls and transactional activities, including SAP daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related experience
  • Solid understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain a strong controls environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex financial information
  • ERP and financial system experience, with SAP and Hyperion preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including complex spreadsheet creation and accuracy
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Quality orientation and meticulous attention to detail
  • Adaptability and ability to manage multiple assignments in a changing environment
  • Teamwork and collaboration across functions outside formal lines of authority

Compensation

New hire base salary range: $89,800.00 - $112,200.00 per year.

This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. A discretionary bonus may also be awarded.
