Senior Financial Analyst, R&D Finance
Job Description
Regeneron is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for R&D Program Finance to support development programs across multiple therapeutic areas. This onsite role in Sleepy Hollow, NY centers on planning and forecasting program budgets, monitoring spend and variances, and maintaining budget governance aligned to financial execution. You will partner closely with clinical and cross-functional teams to translate development plans into actionable financial forecasts and reporting.
Role focus
- Provide financial ownership for assigned programs and collaborations, including quarterly forecasts and monthly actuals reporting.
- Communicate each program’s financial execution status, with clear variance analysis versus plan/forecast.
- Support clinical teams by building detailed budgets for clinical trials and tracking trial financials through study completion.
- Convert operational components of development plans into detailed forecasts for internal and external clinical costs, and load forecasting outputs into Hyperion.
Cross-functional partnership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and external collaboration partners to manage and communicate P&L implications.
- Coordinate with the Accounting group to support completeness and accuracy of actuals and clinical trial accruals.
Process improvement and analysis
- Lead and participate in departmental initiatives to improve ways of working, including process streamlining, identifying and implementing best practices, and standardizing financial templates and deliverables.
- Complete ad hoc projects and financial analyses to address business needs, and present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance, business, scientific, or quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience with forecasting, budgeting, and/or business partnering, ideally in a science or research-driven environment.

- Work schedule: required to be on-site 4 days per week
- Salary range (annual): $83,800 - $136,800
