Job Description
ProTec Integration, Inc. is hiring a Senior IT Financial Management Analyst to support long-standing federal technology initiatives from remote. This role is built for someone who enjoys turning complex cloud and IT charges into clear, decision-ready reporting, with practical improvements to IT service management through ServiceNow. You will work independently with limited supervision while being accountable for accurate, timely deliverables for managers and federal stakeholders.
What you’ll do

- Drive discrepancies to resolution by working with vendors and technical teams
- Document conclusions in a way that will withstand review
- Build and maintain cost models, allocation methods, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Develop business cases and investment analyses to inform client spending decisions
- Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting for managers and executives using ServiceNow, Excel, Power BI, or comparable tools
- Ensure reports explain what changed and why, not just restate totals
- Assess existing ITSM processes and recommend practical improvements based on stakeholder input
- Gather requirements from financial, operational, and technical stakeholders, then translate them into workflows, reports, dashboards, and implementation guidance
- Provide functional guidance on ServiceNow capabilities
- Support functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, including release preparation and post-release validation
- Present findings to federal officials in a form they can act on
Skills and experience needed
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of financial analysis, technology cost management, or comparable work
- Proven ability to reconcile charges, analyze cost drivers, and produce defensible documentation
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost modeling, and variance analysis capability
- Advanced Excel proficiency working with large or imperfect datasets
- Working knowledge of ITSM processes
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise service management platform
- Clear communication with senior stakeholders in writing and in meetings
- Ability to work reliably and independently in a remote environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must satisfy applicable federal client suitability and background requirements

- Familiarity with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools
- ITIL certification or substantial practical ITSM experience
