Sr. Finance Manager
Job Description
CBRE is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager for an onsite role in downtown Dallas, TX, supporting the Business Operations & Experience segment. The position focuses on financial planning, reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives, partnering with global finance leaders and business stakeholders to improve decision-making and drive operational results.
In this role, you will help run core forecasting and budgeting cycles, strengthen financial controls and standardized processes across global teams, and translate complex financial information into clear insights for senior leadership. Work will include both recurring close and reporting deliverables and special projects aimed at process improvement and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global finance leaders and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, financial planning, and operational excellence.
- Own the annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting processes to deliver timely, accurate financial insights.
- Build relationships with finance teams across multiple regions to gather, consolidate, and validate financial information.
- Spot cost-saving opportunities, financial risks, and performance trends, and provide recommendations aligned to business objectives.
- Prepare, analyze, and deliver complex financial reports, forecasts, pro forma analyses, and executive presentations.
- Review and validate balance sheet analyses, cash flow reporting, supporting schedules, and consolidated reporting packages for accuracy and consistency.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including review of journal entries and financial reporting deliverables.
- Promote standardized financial processes, reporting methodologies, and internal controls across global finance teams.
- Lead and support special projects focused on process improvement, operational efficiencies, reporting enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
- Research, develop, and implement accounting and finance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional business partners to resolve complex financial and operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders, converting complex data into actionable decisions.
- Influence stakeholders across multiple functions to build alignment, move initiatives forward, and achieve shared goals.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; 5-8+ years of experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, strategy, accounting, or related areas (equivalent education and experience considered).
- Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to influence stakeholders, build global partnerships, and drive initiatives through collaboration.
- Strong focus on delivering results, improving processes, and driving performance using data-driven financial insights.
- Advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, including navigating ambiguity and developing practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, including presenting complex financial information to executive leaders.
- Experience leading discussions on sensitive, complex, business-critical topics while balancing stakeholder perspectives.
- Advanced experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting with strong understanding of financial drivers and performance metrics.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capability to interpret financial data and support strategic business decisions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
