Sr Financial Analyst, Ads FP&A, Amazon Advertising Sales Finance

Based in New York, NY on site, this Senior Financial Analyst supports the Amazon Advertising FP&A Productivity team by establishing and monitoring productivity measurements across Global Ad Sales, and by partnering with Finance, Data Engineers, and BI Engineers to maintain productivity tools. The role collaborates with Sales teams and regional Finance POCs to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and track productivity metrics across Global Ad Sales
• Own comprehensive productivity metrics, benchmarking, and forecasting
• Create and refine frameworks to assess sales productivity performance
• Provide deep-dive analyses and insights for Quarterly Business Reviews
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Product teams to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail while keeping a broad, strategic perspective

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
• 3+ years applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
• 3+ years driving process improvements through automation and analysis
• 3+ years identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
