Job Description
This on-site Sr Financial Analyst position in Culver City, CA supports Prime Video Content Strategy & Finance's global acquisitions with a salary range of USD 72,600 to 117,100 per year.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly and quarterly projections for worldwide acquisitions initiatives, presenting P&L implications and variance explanations to senior leadership.
- Deliver timely, precise forecasts and performance reporting; design and deploy financial models and trackers at title, category, and program levels.
- Pull PV viewership metrics to uncover insights that shape global content acquisition strategy and investment decisions.
- Partner with the global content acquisitions team as a trusted finance advisor, translating financial concepts into actionable guidance.
- Manage slate updates for global acquisitions programs, evaluating performance and financial impact of slate changes.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (or a relevant combination of degree and experience in tax, finance, or analytics).
- At least 3 years applying key performance indicators to analyses.
- At least 3 years creating automated processes and performing analytical improvements.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or related analysis.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical field
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field (or a combination of degree and relevant experience in tax, finance, or analytics)
- 3+ years applying KPIs to analyses
- 3+ years creating automation-driven process improvements
- 3+ years of financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Ability to identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and design escalation plans
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation
- Knowledge of SQL and ETL processes
