Job Description
Join Home Depot, a leader in retail, in an on-site Sr. Financial Analyst - Supply Chain role based in Atlanta, GA. This position offers the chance to influence planning, forecasting, reporting, and capital allocation while collaborating across finance and business leadership. You will work alongside senior leaders to shape budgets and strategic initiatives, and to deliver clear financial storytelling that informs decisions. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience are required.
Responsibilities
- 40% Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting: Lead development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports. Use advanced financial modeling to create detailed forecasts and perform variance analysis to explain key trends. Deliver clear reporting to senior leadership, highlighting insights and potential risks. Support month end close processes.
- 30% Preparing and Delivering Insights: Develop and present financial analysis visually and verbally to business leaders. Address projects and strategies, and answer questions through strong financial controllership. Provide actionable recommendations grounded in an understanding of operations and financial impact.
- 20% Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders up to VP level to understand operations. Partner with stakeholders across finance and accounting to ensure a clear line of sight to financial inputs and outputs so stories can be explained.
- 10% Project Based Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses for investment initiatives and capital allocation. Build financial models to project scenarios and explain underlying causes of metric variations.
