Sr. Financial Data Analyst

Sr. Financial Data Analyst at Grimmway Produce Group in Shafter, CA (onsite) focused on transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights, with emphasis on financial analysis, reporting, and data validation to establish the primary source of truth across systems.

Responsibilities

• Transforming complex financial and operational data into accurate, actionable insights
• Creating the primary “source of truth” for enterprise financial data across multiple systems
• Focusing on financial analysis, reporting, data validation
• Partnering closely with Accounting/Finance, IT and Farming and Production Operations while remaining distinctly analytical rather than engineering-focused

Requirements

• An undergraduate/graduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
• Solid understanding of data warehouses, data structures, financial data flows and AI tools, with strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and validation
• Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau and financial reporting dashboards
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
• Proven ability to validate, reconcile and troubleshoot complex data sets with a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate information into an organized and presentable manner
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Remote work not available for this position for the first two years.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check
