Job Description

Magnolia Wealth Strategies is seeking a Sales Recruiter to build and develop a pipeline of prospective Financial Advisors in an assigned market. This role is oriented around high-activity outreach and relationship building, with recruiting responsibilities managed through a defined pipeline process and tracked in the Agency Tracking System (ATS).

Role Overview

You will prospect for Financial Advisor candidates, conduct discovery conversations, and move prospects through recruiting stages with clear next steps and follow-up commitments. The position also involves using pipeline and conversion data to refine sourcing strategies and support alignment across recruiting and onboarding partners.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective Financial Advisors within your assigned market.
Source candidates through direct outreach, databases, referrals, social media, job boards, networking, events, and community relationships.
Conduct personalized outbound outreach as a primary channel rather than relying mainly on inbound applicants.
Develop relationships with centers of influence, community partners, educational institutions, professionals, Advisors, and employees to generate referrals.
Lead discovery conversations to understand career goals, motivations, experience, business development potential, coachability, resilience, and overall fit.
Follow up consistently and cultivate candidates who may not be prepared for an immediate career move.
Manage candidates through the recruiting pipeline and ensure next steps and follow-up commitments are documented and clear.
Track prospecting activity, candidate stages, sources, follow-up dates, and pipeline results in the Agency Tracking System (ATS).
Use pipeline and conversion data to identify which sourcing methods produce stronger candidates and adjust accordingly.
Coordinate with Branch Leaders, Advisors, Marketing, training leaders, licensing and onboarding teams, and Home Office recruiting resources.
Represent Magnolia professionally in the market by communicating the Financial Advisor opportunity, culture, development resources, and entrepreneurial career path.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in recruiting, sales, business development, talent sourcing, or another relationship-driven role.
Required experience in one of the following: recruiting for commission-based sales professionals or personally working in a commission-based sales role.
Proven ability to prospect, conduct outbound outreach, generate conversations, and build relationships.
Comfort working in a goal-oriented environment where activity and pipeline results are measured.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with prospective candidates.
Ability to ask thoughtful questions, identify motivations, and assess fit with the opportunity.
Persistence and discipline with follow-up, including prospects not ready to move immediately.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple candidates and opportunities simultaneously.
Experience using a CRM, ATS, or other pipeline-management technology.
Ability to use activity and conversion data to improve results.
Experience recruiting or selling in financial services, insurance, wealth management, professional services, or another entrepreneurial sales environment is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Willingness to travel within the assigned market and occasionally accommodate events or candidate schedules outside standard business hours.
Prior experience recruiting for a commission-based sales role or personally working in a commission-based position is part of the screening.
