The Sr Finance Manager 2, FP&A Operations at GE Aerospace leads operational controllership for GE's Remedial portfolio across US and international sites. The role partners with site operations to document reserve backups and support site financial needs, while collaborating with sourcing, tax and controllership on daily activities, special projects and ad hoc analyses. Location is Norwalk, CT with remote work options and a salary range of USD 124,500 to 180,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage Corporate Holdings sites within the US and International Portfolios, covering roughly 150 sites.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure reserve requests are met and provide strategic guidance on moving sites through the remediation process.
- Oversee month end and quarter end close tasks including GE Corporate Environmental Programs (GCEPS) system maintenance, report generation, account reconciliations, and team support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and respond to audit and disaster recovery requests for the site portfolio.
- Act as the operational partner for the EHS remedial subledger GCEPS, coordinating with IT to implement enhancements and fulfill reporting needs; responsible for system maintenance and support.
- Lead special projects as identified.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Experience in EHS accounting and operational controllership processes, including account reconciliations, chart of accounts, intercompany transactions, and external reporting.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of strong financial analysis and/or controllership experience.
