Job Description

The Automotive Finance and Insurance Manager will lead Larson Ford's F&I department in Toms River, NJ, overseeing financing structures, lender relationships, compliance, profitability, and staff development to deliver a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary conduit between customers and our lending network to craft financing packages tailored to each buyer's situation.
Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and captive finance partners.
Professionally present and promote finance and insurance products, ensuring customers understand all available options.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of all deal documentation to lenders.
Maintain expertise across dealership management systems, lender portals, and bank-required software platforms.
Manage the F&I process from credit application to funding while maintaining high CSI scores.
Coach and collaborate with sales staff to ensure a smooth transition into the F&I office.
Drive department profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as an F&I Manager in an automotive dealership environment.
Strong knowledge of lender programs, rate structures, and financing guidelines.
Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or equivalent) and lender portals (RouteOne, Dealertrack, etc.).
In-depth understanding of F&I compliance requirements and best practices.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven with a competitive spirit.
A collaborative team player who leads by example and upholds the highest ethical standards.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 125,000 - 225,000 per year.
