Build impact in turnaround and restructuring by supporting client-facing Corporate Finance teams with rigorous analysis and practical deliverables. This full-time role is based in Los Angeles, CA (onsite) and offers a $90,000 to $160,000 yearly salary range.
What you’ll do
You will support the day-to-day activities of BRG Corporate Finance – Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams on active advisory engagements. Work spans modeling, analysis, and client presentation support, with multiple concurrent tasks across each engagement.
- Assist with modeling and client presentations as part of consulting engagement execution
- Apply business, finance, accounting, and analytical skills to build and interpret key deliverables, including 13-week cash flow models, 3-statement models, and pro-forma scenario models
- Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables
- Collaborate with T&R and BRG experts, professionals from other firms, and client contacts to meet engagement objectives
- Contribute to a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting practice by supporting marketing, client pitches, and product and practice development
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity

Expect to work with both qualitative and quantitative inputs, managing and analyzing large volumes of financial and operational data. You will translate findings into insights and recommendations that support turnaround decision-making. The role also involves coordinating with team members across different levels of seniority and stakeholders.
What you bring
- Bachelors degree (or degree equivalent) in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis (especially in Excel), including constructing and understanding 3-statement financial models, cash flows, and scenario analyses
- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience interacting with junior and senior team members, senior management, and other stakeholders or professionals
- Mature presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work independently and in a team dynamic; comfort managing multiple tasks, prioritizing changing demands, and learning quickly
- CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting expertise is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Willingness to travel as needed
