Old Forge Wealth Management is hiring a client-facing Financial Advisor Associate in Warwick, RI to support lead advisors and develop toward a Lead Advisor career path. This independent Rhode Island RIA role emphasizes fiduciary planning, collaborative execution, and progressive ownership of client relationships.
Role Overview
As an associate, you will work alongside lead advisors to manage client interactions, planning strategy, and implementation. Over time, the position is designed to increase responsibility for client relationships, planning leadership, and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead advisors with managing client relationships, including presenting financial plans, participating in client meetings, and reviewing planning strategies
- Develop and maintain financial plans, identify planning opportunities, and follow through on implementation
- Conduct quarterly client reviews and provide ongoing client service
- Execute trading and support portfolio implementation as needed
- Collaborate with internal team members with strong alignment to team-based decision-making
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of client interactions, recommendations, and required paperwork within the CRM and applicable systems
- Support firm growth through client retention and identifying opportunities within existing relationships, as well as contributing to new client development
Requirements
- Series 65 (or on track) (Series 7 & Series 66 preferred)
- CFP® designation preferred (or on track)
- Experience working with client relationships and participating in meetings
- Demonstrated ability to manage or contribute to client relationships with increasing independence
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts including retirement, investments, and insurance
- Experience using financial planning and investment software such as MoneyGuidePro, Schwab, or Black Diamond
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage client responsibilities with minimal supervision

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: USD 50,000.00 - 120,000.00 per year

Career Path
This role is structured to develop into a Lead Advisor position over time. The lead advisor transition includes managing client relationships, leading planning strategy, and contributing to continued firm growth and development.
