Associate Financial Advisor
Job Description
Join the Long Island, NY advisory team supporting senior advisors in client service, planning, and year-round review processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Financial Advisor during client meetings and manage follow-up activities
- Capture meeting notes and enter updates promptly into the CRM
- Help present financial advice or plan details to clients alongside the Financial Advisor
- Meet with clients or follow up by phone to gather additional planning information and confirm details
- Review and analyze clients’ current investments and insurance policies
- Assist with trades and ongoing account management
- Support preparation of annual reviews as required by the team
- Systematize the review workflow using the Wealth Enhancement Group review system and CRM
- Compile data for client reviews and review client files to identify additional sales opportunities
- Create client reviews using the Wealth Enhancement Group review system
- Monitor the percentage of clients reviewed in the last calendar year
- Help create financial plans for clients as directed by the team
- Analyze client financial data in relation to clients’ goals
- Prepare client information to present to the Roundtable when required
- Collaborate professionally with the Financial Planning department when required
- Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group trainings, educational events, and coaching programs
- Use advisor and client-facing technology proficiently
- Follow the Wealth Enhancement Group Corporate Communication Strategy and maintain good compliance standing
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the wealth management industry
- 4-year degree required; business, finance, or economics preferred
- Advanced designation or working toward: CFP, CPA, MBA, etc.
- Series 7 and Series 66 (BD/RIA)
- Series 65 (RIA Only)
- Insurance Licenses
- Ability to prepare client reviews and support meetings with senior advisors
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Engagement in the community

Salary
- USD 70,000 - 100,000 per year
