Chief Financial Officer

Oversee core financial operations for an onsite role in Jacksonville, TX, covering general ledger close, reporting, and supervision across key accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter journal entries
• Reconcile accounts accurately and complete general ledger reconciliations
• Reconcile bank statements
• Support month-end and regulatory reporting
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Manage general ledger processing and month-end reporting activities
• Serve as a backup for others in the department
• Oversee preparation of monthly billing for FAYS
• Prepare quarterly billing for IHFS
• Coordinate MAC activities, including training staff
• Prepare TAFI reports and other required reports
• Monitor staff performance and provide training, feedback, and work performance evaluation
• Prepare financial statements

Requirements

• College degree required: B.B.A. with a major in accounting or B.S. in Accounting
• CPA helpful
• Substantial financial services experience may be substituted for the degree with prior approval of the Supervisor
• Experience with general ledger account reconciliation
• Experience in supervision
• Knowledge of Excel required
• MS Access experience helpful
• Complete orientation and new hire training within the first six months of employment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
