Enrollment/financial aid specialist

Major League Barber Academy LLC is seeking an experienced Enrollment & Financial Aid Specialist to support student enrollment and Title IV financial aid processes in East Haven, CT.

Responsibilities

• Handle enrollment and financial aid duties using knowledge of Title IV federal financial aid, FAFSA, Pell Grants, and related compliance requirements
• Support student enrollment and ensure financial aid processes align with program requirements
• Work independently with strong organization and dependable follow-through

Requirements

• Background in postsecondary education, college admissions, or vocational schools
• Working knowledge of Title IV federal financial aid, FAFSA, Pell Grants, student enrollment, and financial aid compliance
• Previous experience with Title IV funding is highly preferred
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently

Schedule & Work Location

• Part-time to start, with potential to move to full-time
• Flexible schedule with hybrid/remote opportunities
• On-site attendance approximately 1 to 2 days per week
• Work location: East Haven, CT (hybrid), with in-person days

Pay

• Hourly pay: $22.50 to $30.80 per hour
• Compensation is based on experience
