Finance Analyst Senior

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the THAAD program in Huntsville, Alabama. This onsite role centers on budgeting and forecasting in COBRA, earned value management performance measurement, variance analysis, and driving financial process improvements to support monthly and annual closes as part of a SBOP team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance Management, Program Management, CAMs and Finance Analysts to ensure the program meets its financial commitments.
• Load and maintain budgets and forecasts in the Earned Value Management tool (COBRA).
• Use the Earned Value Management system to measure cost and schedule performance, prepare variance reports on a monthly basis, and analyze risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial process improvements and present recommendations.
• Support a team of Super Business Operation (SBOPs) and contribute to monthly and annual processes such as CEACs and DDMs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work with detailed analysis of data
• Proven effective analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task in high pressure environment
• Ability to obtain security clearance
