This onsite Financial Controller position in Orlando oversees finance operations across the Americas, including the Order to Cash cycle, inventory, and upstream forecasting. You will supervise the finance team, shape regional budgeting and planning, and partner with senior leadership to drive fiscal discipline. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions for the national operation, with recent expansion into Canada and LATAM.
- Direct and supervise internal accountants performing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- Contribute to timely and accurate monthly financial and management reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Ensure accounting, control, audit, and administrative duties are performed efficiently.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for US, Canada, and Latin America.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and decision support.
- Utilize the ERP system to streamline processes, reporting, and data analysis.
- Train and guide the finance team in ERP usage for reporting and monthly submissions into HFM.
- Prepare accurate financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Perform in-depth financial and variance analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations for the executive leadership team as needed.
- Ensure internal and Group deadlines are met in a timely and accurate manner.
- Fully support Central Finance and Group Finance with additional analyses as required.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Develop shared services relationships to support Canadian, US, and LATAM business needs.
- Monitor financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Manage financial operations across US, Canada, and LATAM with compliance to local regulations and tax laws via group support.
- Consolidate regional financial data for accurate reporting.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize liquidity and support operations and investments.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain to support business initiatives and profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong grounding in accounting, including double-entry bookkeeping, IFRS, management reporting, and KPI monitoring.
- Proven expertise in financial management with experience in QuickBooks and/or SAP.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and some international accounting standards.
- Excellent financial analysis and strategic planning abilities.
- Demonstrated problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and experience using accounting packages.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and work both independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and navigate complex, international environments.
- Commitment to following operational procedures and meeting project deadlines.

Desirable Skills
- Experience managing financial operations in an international setting, including Canada and LATAM.
- Familiarity with HFM and/or OneStream.
- Ability to collaborate with operations teams in warehouses for reconciliation and order validation related to inventory and orders.
