You will help ensure labor cost reporting integrity, manage headcount planning, payroll reconciliation, and HR financial analytics while providing payroll backup. Responsibilities
- Create the annual HR budget and quarterly projections
- Produce monthly labor cost reporting
- Assess variances in labor costs against plan
- Forecast headcount-related expenses
- Track salary increases and bonus accruals
- Monitor benefit expenditures
- Analyze overtime and agency labor costs
- Support the development of the annual operating plan
- Build long-range financial models for the workforce
- Own the monthly HR financial close activities
- Reconcile payroll to the General Ledger
- Monitor headcount movements
- Validate FTE reporting
- Analyze vacancies and hiring plans
- Track organizational changes
- Manage labor cost allocations
- Review cost center accuracy
- Develop dashboards and reporting for Headcount, FTE, and Labor costs
- Develop dashboards for Overtime and Temporary labor
- Develop dashboards for Turnover and Recruiting costs
- Develop dashboards for Absenteeism, Benefits costs, Workers' Compensation
- Develop dashboards for Training expenses and Organizational productivity
- Validate payroll accuracy and analyze compensation trends
- Review merit increases and forecast incentive compensation
- Support salary planning and audit payroll variances
- Reconcile payroll taxes and monitor benefit deductions
- Work with Dayforce, SAP, OneStream, HRIS reporting tools, Microsoft Power BI, and advanced Excel
- Apply workforce planning tools and ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Contribute to financial policies and labor reporting requirements
- Support HR business partners and operations leadership in budgeting and planning decisions
- Assist with payroll and HR workflow improvements related to organizational changes
- Monitor labor productivity and lead cost-reduction initiatives
- Support capital projects affecting labor and improve forecast accuracy
- Track budget variance, headcount accuracy, and payroll reconciliation accuracy
- Ensure timely financial close and produce productivity and payroll-related metrics
- Monitor dashboard utilization and capture cost savings identified
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or Economics
- 5 years of SAP Finance & Controlling experience (Required)
