Responsibilities

  • Support achievement of sales and performance targets for new asset sales, joint appointments, fee-based sales, and financial planning
  • Develop business by pursuing outbound calls, seminars, and branch referrals
  • Identify referral opportunities during client conversations for personal and commercial banking products
  • Collaborate with the lead relationship manager to implement a relationship management plan
  • Assess client needs and offer solutions through the sale of managed products and services
  • Develop solutions and recommendations aligned with business strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Advise assigned business groups on solution implementation
  • Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Help prioritize and sequence business or group strategy execution
  • Conduct independent analysis to address strategic issues
  • Coordinate activities for strategic initiatives, tracking metrics and milestones
  • Manage databases and support analysis, forecasting, and data visualization while adhering to governance standards
  • Break down strategic problems and analyze data to generate insights and recommendations
  • Monitor performance and address any issues
  • Design and produce regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards
  • Develop and execute change management plans, including readiness assessments and stakeholder management
  • Contribute to communication plans to influence change, tailoring messages and channels
  • Support planning and implementation of operational programs
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service delivery
  • Identify business needs, design tools and training programs, and deliver training when needed
  • Utilize systems to manage information and enhance processes
  • Integrate data from multiple sources to enable streamlined reporting
  • Support the development and promotion of a business or group program
  • Collaborate with the client relationship team to apply a consultative sales process and improve client experience
  • Introduce clients to investment strategies and help develop financial plans using appropriate tools
  • Communicate product developments and initiatives to sales management and the sales force
  • Coach teammates through joint appointments and sharing product knowledge and sales tips
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and align on goals
  • Adhere to risk and compliance policies to safeguard assets, protect privacy, and uphold ethical standards
  • Protect the bank’s assets and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience
  • Focus primarily on the business group within BMO, with potential enterprise-wide scope
  • Apply sound judgment to diagnose and solve problems within established rules
  • Work independently on complex tasks, including unique situations; additional responsibilities may be assigned
  • Balance risk and performance by following the Risk Management Framework, aligned with risk appetite and applicable policies

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FINRA licenses: Series 6, 63 & 65 or Series 7 & 66
  • Life and Health Insurance Producer license
  • Completed LTC Continuing Education requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of the financial industry
  • Hands-on experience with managed products and fee-based guidance
  • Solid understanding of deposit and loan products, including mortgages, and banking services
  • Technical proficiency gained through education or professional experience
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Influence skills and the ability to drive decisions
  • Data-driven decision making with a structured approach

Location: Manitowoc, WI onsite. Salary range: USD 51,800 to 95,900 per year. Pay type: Salaried and Commission.
