Job Description
Thrivent is seeking a Financial Advisor in Missoula, MT to build a purpose-based practice and deliver personal, actionable financial guidance.
- Build and grow a financial practice that guides Christians toward financial clarity, service, and faith
- Provide personal advice that is actionable and achievable, connecting clients to Thrivent products and programs
- Develop long-term client relationships across generations based on trust and understanding
- Make client appointments using your network and Thrivent’s reputation
- Deliver financial workshops and market your practice
- Manage your schedule flexibly to support work-life balance
- Collaborate with colleagues in a culture focused on helping advisors succeed
- Leverage internal specialists for support across business development, marketing, technology, engagement, and experienced advisors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Military veterans encouraged to apply
- FINRA SIE, life and health licenses (licensed role only) attained before contracting
- Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting, and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification (if applicable)
Pay
- Up to $150,000.00 per year

Paid Training and Onboarding
- Up to 14 weeks of paid training and coaching while obtaining state insurance licenses (life, health & variable contracts), Series 7 and 66 registrations, and completing Thrivent’s advisor onboarding program
- After onboarding, control over income through commissions and incentives based on success

- Motivated by helping others and supporting clients in reaching their goals
- Natural coach or guide with strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for living a life of generosity through service, not only product selling
- Thrivent advisors may come from varied backgrounds including outside sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military, and more
- Transferable skills from those fields can apply to the financial advisor role
