Job Description

On-site in Houston, TX, the Financial Advisory - Support Advisor role assists with daily operations, client interactions, reporting, portfolio analysis, and compliance to maximize advisor efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings and capture detailed notes
  • Review client information, prepare reports and presentations, and manage reports within portfolio systems such as Albridge, eMoney, and Envestnet
  • Respond to basic investment and financial planning questions from clients
  • Enter data into eMoney and draft financial plans
  • Assess asset allocation and generate recommendations for rebalancing trades
  • Research products, investment managers, services, and pricing; contact carriers for information
  • Develop custom reports to analyze purchase decisions or planning scenarios
  • Coordinate with the broker-dealer or custodian to obtain information or account data and convey service requests
  • Maintain CRM records related to duties performed
  • Forward complaints to the compliance department and maintain audit-ready records
  • Keep detailed records, communicate effectively across teams, and analytically address compliance risks
  • Assist clients with online access
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Advisors

Requirements

  • Series 7, Series 65 and Series 63 or Series 66 are required
  • 2 to 5 years in a similar role and at least 3 years in the financial services industry
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a professional phone presence
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of investment products and portfolio construction
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Forward-thinking problem solver with the ability to anticipate client and team needs
  • Client-first attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service
