Job Description

JPMorganChase invites a Senior Associate to join the Open Banking Finance team onsite in Wilmington, Delaware. The role centers on rigorous financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and reporting, with broad coordination across cross-functional workstreams within the Open Banking Finance organization and the Connected Commerce pillars of Payments and Lending.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis efforts across the unit
  • Deliver analytics and strategic insights including stakeholder recommendations, customer behavior assessment, and card business performance review
  • Develop financial business cases to support key business initiatives
  • Define and monitor performance metrics, prepare presentations, and provide financial analysis to senior management
  • Manage month‑end close, forecast remainder of the year, and budget planning for future years
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify drivers of results and present commentary to line‑of‑business Chief Financial Officers on changes from prior forecasts and budgets
  • Collaborate on new reports and dashboards to efficiently convey financial results to senior leadership
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, pursuing automation where feasible

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a technically oriented field
  • At least 4 years of work experience in Financial Services with a Finance, Planning & Analysis, Business Management, Accounting or Consulting background
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly
  • Highly motivated with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions
