FINANCIAL ANALYST

Onsite at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, this Financial Analyst role places you at the center of financial planning and strategic decision support. You will produce analytical reports, support forecasting and budgeting, conduct market research, and contribute to the property’s strategic planning process for senior management. This position offers hands-on collaboration with department leaders and a pathway to influence key business decisions within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce all analytical reports used by senior management.
• Write new reports as needed, utilizing casino management system software.
• Evaluate financial results and report areas of concern to management.
• Perform operational analysis of all business aspects and identify potential opportunities.
• Continuously seek to automate repetitive analytical tasks with IT solutions.
• Develop statistical models to accurately forecast future casino volumes.
• Perform IRR and NPV analysis for proposed capital projects.
• Perform market research and analysis as needed.
• Assist in the development of the property master plan.
• Provide data and analytical support for the development of the strategic plan.
• Provide analytical support for quarterly operating reviews.
• Coordinate with property department heads to monitor and track progress of initiatives in the strategic plan and provide quarterly updates to senior management.
• Assist in developing property operating and capital budgets.
• Manage the day to day personnel requisition process.
• Perform other ad hoc analyses as assigned by management and may be assigned to other departments for special projects.
• Promote positive public relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS with concentration in Finance or Accounting; MSIS or Computer Science required.
• PBA, CPA or CFA a plus.
• Three years of applicable business experience required.
• One year in an analytical role required.
• Strong computer skills with high proficiency in Excel, Access, Showcase, Query, and Cognos.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
