A full-time Financial Analyst role in Las Vegas focuses on finance, strategy, and operations to support informed business decisions.

Develop analyses and forecasts for sizable investment opportunities and strategic initiatives
Convey complex financial data to executives and non-financial stakeholders in clear terms
Develop and review quarterly risk analyses and corresponding presentations
Spot risk areas within the portfolio and propose solutions with recommendations
Assist in consolidating and examining financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
Coordinate, prepare, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual rolling forecasts
Generate reporting on actual results versus budgets, plus ad hoc result analyses
Identify primary data sources and leverage data-driven insights to improve departmental decisions
Create board-ready PowerPoint presentations on a monthly and quarterly basis
Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed
Lead special projects as required
Develop SQL queries for ad hoc analyses and monthly reporting

Experience ranges from internship to four years in investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or corporate finance
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Solid understanding of fundamental financial and accounting concepts
High proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling
Ability to work with and analyze large data sets
Capable of working independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues to complete projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must reside in the Las Vegas, NV area
