Financial Analyst, Cloud Go-to-Market Finance

Google’s Cloud Go-to-Market organization relies on accurate forecasting, disciplined performance tracking, and clear financial insights to support leadership decisions. As a Financial Analyst, you will help drive the planning and control processes for Cloud GTM finance, partnering across teams to ensure total cloud revenue is modeled, reviewed, and communicated effectively.

Salary: USD 116,000 - 166,000 per yearly

Role overview

Financial Analysts at Google play a key part in shaping sound financial decisions through modeling and performance measurement. In this role, you will lead project work to improve how planning, tracking, and control are executed for Google Cloud Go-to-Market finance, with a focus on delivering actionable insight to Cloud Executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of forecast and due diligence processes for total cloud revenue.
• Collaborate with Speciality Product and Region Finance teams to roll up total cloud results and forecasts for revenue.
• Present insights to the Cloud Executive leadership team based on consolidated results and forecasting.
• Coordinate with Sales Operations teams to ensure timely delivery of required deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
• Experience performing full-cycle FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling in a multinational company environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in financial modeling, FP&A, consulting, or a related function.
• Knowledge of the Cloud industry, including different roles and incentives.
• Strong quantitative, written, and presentation skills, with an approach that is innovative, organized, and thorough.
• Eagerness to continue developing these skills.
