Job Description
Responsibilities
- Execute and refine the financial management strategy that supports the client’s ongoing programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with project management, schedulers, task leads, and stakeholders to deliver accurate budget execution, data analytics, spend plan management, and actionable insights for sound financial decision‑making.
- Research and validate financial data, identify discrepancies, analyze execution and manpower trends, and ensure all daily processes comply with DoD financial management regulations.
- Maintain organized records and a comprehensive file plan to support audit readiness.
- Once funding is in place, ensure its efficient execution through consistent tracking and communication with mission partners and program leadership.
- Apply financial analysis expertise to support high‑level operational and financial priorities aligned with the client’s mission.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Air Force financial management experience for large‑scale civil engineering projects.
- 3+ years of experience within the Indo‑Pacific Area of Responsibility.
- Experience performing accounting, budget execution, or resource management within a DoD or DoDAF environment, including supporting deployed environments and teams.
- Knowledge of financial management systems and processes such as DEAMS, FM Suite, WAWF, DTS, and U.S. Bank.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, pull reports from systems of record, conduct audits, determine account balances or execution rates, and develop dashboards, briefings, charts, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Ability to brief senior leadership and establish and maintain records management systems and file plans to support audit readiness.
- Secret clearance.

The Opportunity
In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it will have the most impact requires navigating requirements, policies, and regulations. As a financial analyst on the team, you will help execute and refine the financial management strategy that supports Air Force programs, working with project management, schedulers, task leads, and stakeholders to deliver precise budget execution, data analytics, and spend plans that inform financial decisions.
You will research and validate financial data, identify discrepancies, analyze execution and manpower trends, and ensure daily processes align with DoD financial management regulations. Maintaining organized records and a robust file plan will support audit readiness, and you will help ensure funding is executed efficiently through continuous tracking and communication with mission partners and program leadership. This role supports Air Force operations by ensuring funding aligns with priorities and needs.
Work Model
- Onsite: Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with collaboration to support role requirements.
- Hybrid: Regular in‑person work at a Booz Allen facility is expected, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
- Remote: Location may allow remote work with in‑person requirements from time to time, subject to leadership expectations and role needs.
Nice If You Have
- Experience supporting civil engineering, infrastructure, supply chain, or manpower financial reporting.
- Knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR), UMM C and MILCON processes, or Agile Combat Employment (ACE) initiatives.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Master’s preferred).
- Project Management Certification such as CAPM, APM, or CPMP.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A Secret clearance is required.
