Job Description

Join AbbVie’s US Skincare finance team supporting SkinMedica, Diamond Glow, Latisse, and upcoming pipeline assets in Irvine, CA (onsite).

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual planning materials including Plan, LRP, and LBEs as needed
  • Build forecasts for headcount, expenses, other manufacturing costs, and capital using the SAC planning system
  • Prepare SG&A variance analysis for each planning cycle and support management reporting schedules
  • Produce and distribute monthly actuals packages highlighting drivers of variance in gross sales, discounts, and gross margin by brand
  • Lead weekly Sales Pacing calls with marketing and sales leadership to forecast monthly landing and review Skincare channel dynamics
  • Partner with cost center owners to track and manage promotional budget, including cost center gaiting, analysis by vendor/events, and HC tracking
  • Collaborate with Accounting Shared Services on monthly accruals, close, and financial reporting to ensure timely, complete, and accurate monthly results
  • Support variance analysis and commentary across P&L, headcount, and balance sheet
  • Review monthly performance versus benchmark, escalate issues to the Manager, and align on resolution or action plans
  • Support demand loading in ADS/JDA, including review of trade, samples, promotions, and statistical forecasting
  • Assist with capital process, including preparation and review of RCE in line with financial policies
  • Provide financial reviews and approvals for purchase order requests and invoices
  • Complete ad hoc analysis and forecasts for internal leadership and external customers as requested
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to support strategic initiative execution
  • Streamline and support simplification of SG&A processes, leveraging PowerBI and SAC

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
  • 2+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting preferred
  • Ability to execute priorities set by the Manager with speed and agility
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business partnering and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excel proficiency required
  • Knowledge of SAP, SAC, and PowerBI is a plus
