Job Description
Foot Locker seeks a Financial Analyst, Utilities Finance in Camp Hill, PA (hybrid) to manage the company's $36M annual utility expense plan, monitor consumption for Annual Impact reporting, and coordinate with third‑party resources to ensure controls around bill payment across store and non-store portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate direct utilities payments through a third‑party processor and accounts payable workflows.
- Develop annual store‑level budgets for direct and landlord utilities across multiple budget cycles.
- Incorporate procurement activities into budget planning and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Deliver forecast variance analysis versus plan.
- Track escrow adjustments and year‑end invoices related to landlord utilities.
- Manage month‑end close activities, ensuring P&L accuracy.
- Perform timely account reconciliations with a solid understanding of aging.
- Provide monthly utility usage by commodity for each store for Annual Impact Reporting.
- Partner with the ESG team to satisfy reporting requirements.
- Support the collection of green certificates tied to deregulated contracts as needed.
- Identify high‑usage outliers and collaborate with the utility analyst to investigate.
- Assist Facilities in evaluating the impact of energy‑reducing capital projects (LED, HVAC, EMS).
- Collaborate within the Utilities Finance Team and across the broader organization.
- Present data in clear, audience‑friendly visuals.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, well‑supported financial analyses and ad hoc reporting.
- Complete assignments within established timeframes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1+ years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with PeopleSoft or the ability to run PeopleSoft queries is a plus.
