Job Description

Truist Bank is seeking a Financial Consultant to support one or more Financial Advisors in Lexington, KY. This onsite role blends consultative client engagement with sales and technical support, helping current clients achieve their financial objectives while actively identifying prospective clients. You will provide leadership to the Financial Advisor team and contribute to both short-term planning and long-term strategy, strengthening the team’s value proposition for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Help steer the strategic direction of the Financial Advisor team to drive revenue growth.
  • Consult with clients and prospective clients to analyze goals, risk tolerance, and objectives, recommending investment products and services that align with their needs and implementing those solutions when appropriate.
  • Assist clients with trades, information requests, research, and account-related issues.
  • Deliver ongoing client relationship management support, including counsel, relationship reviews, and service initiatives.
  • Contribute to the preparation and delivery of client presentations and engagements.
  • Support the Advisor in maintaining a profitable level of securities and insurance sales by pursuing opportunities identified through external networking and internal referrals.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards established by Truist, FINRA, and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience.
  • Four years of professional experience, including at least one year in the securities industry.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
  • Applicable state health and life insurance licenses, with jurisdictional registrations matching the supported advisors.
  • Organized and self-motivated, with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
