Job Description
Bank of America is expanding its Mount Vernon, WA on-site team with a Financial Solutions Advisor Registration Candidate who will help clients navigate everyday banking and entry-level investment guidance. The role centers on building foundational advisory capabilities while pursuing securities licensure and progressing through the organization.
As part of this program, you will work toward earning the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses, with the option to use the 63 or 65 in place of the 66 if eligible. You will begin in a financial center delivering core banking and investment solutions while connecting clients to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch offerings to meet their financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Obtain Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7 and Series 66) through dedicated classes.
- Acquire, build and manage client relationships to understand a client’s complex financial picture and provide guidance and solutions.
- Begin working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and client care approach.
- Progress from Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I to Stage II after license achievement and ongoing skill development.
- Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners; connect clients to the solutions we provide through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all their financial needs.

- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
- Self-disciplined in managing time and capacity.
- Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions.
- Success building strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrates a results-driven mindset while prioritizing the client’s interests in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
- Bilingual Mandarin preferred.
