Responsibilities

  • Use tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, Wealth.com, and others to build financial plans, model estate plans, analyze tax returns, and create projections that guide client recommendations
  • Lead our new tax return preparation service, leveraging AI tools to prepare and review client tax returns accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with lead advisors on tax‑aware planning decisions including Roth conversions, ESPP timing, RSU sales, charitable strategies, and retirement income sequencing
  • Prepare client meeting materials such as agendas, plan updates, scenario comparisons, and action items
  • Coordinate implementation of planning recommendations between client meetings, working with the operations team on execution (examples: Roth conversions, charitable giving strategies, RMD planning)
  • Maintain professional, warm, and timely communication with clients regarding planning and tax matters
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the client experience, and strengthen the firm's planning and tax work as the business grows

Requirements

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ownership and follow‑through, with reliability to drive work to completion, especially during tax season
  • 2+ years of professional experience in financial planning, tax, or related field; strong internship or coursework considered for recent graduates
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; comfortable learning new systems
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Desire to pursue the CFP designation with full financial support from the firm; CFP growth path importance to the role
  • Willingness to obtain necessary securities licenses upon joining (firm supports the licensing process)
  • EA or CPA designation encouraged for deeper tax specialization, but optional

Location and schedule
