Job Description
Goldman Sachs' Personal Wealth practice in Dallas seeks a focused and analytical Personal Wealth Financial Analyst to support relationship management for high net worth and advanced client segments. The role combines portfolio monitoring, investment due diligence, and client onboarding to help clients pursue their objectives with disciplined, advisor-led guidance. This onsite opportunity in Dallas, TX requires a bachelor’s degree to begin.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Private Wealth Advisors to back relationship management and sophisticated investment processes for high net worth clients, ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, university endowments, and nonprofits.
- Monitor client portfolios proactively, evaluate manager performance, identify rebalancing opportunities, and propose tactical ideas to optimize returns while controlling risk.
- Develop bespoke asset allocation proposals for new clients, integrating a broad spectrum of managers, styles, and vehicles to align with risk profiles and investment objectives and the firm’s market views.
- Prepare client-facing materials that illustrate asset allocation, portfolio and risk analytics, historical performance, and economic or market reviews to enhance understanding and engagement.
- Perform thorough due diligence on internal and third-party investment opportunities across public and private markets to ensure recommendations meet quality and suitability standards.
- Translate complex research into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate the firm’s strategic views to clients to support informed decision making.
- Support business development by researching qualified prospects and tracking relevant capital raises to contribute to the expansion of the client base.
- Assist in executing client trades across equities, equity options, fixed income, and currencies to ensure seamless market access and efficient processing.
- Plan and manage the onboarding process for new accounts to deliver a smooth and positive client experience.
- Provide comprehensive overviews of client reporting capabilities and web platforms to prospective clients, underscoring transparency and digital solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with clear thinking under demanding circumstances.
- Strong interest in the financial markets and solid investment judgment to identify opportunities and navigate complexities.
- Collaborative and agile team player who can multi-task and work effectively across multiple desks within the Firm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of conveying complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities to build relationships and manage client interactions.
- Hold or be prepared to obtain within three months the SIE, Series 3, 7, and 63 licenses.
