SAP Finance Consultant

Blue Space Healthcare is hiring an experienced SAP FI Functional Consultant to configure, implement, and support SAP Financial Accounting in a hybrid role in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support SAP FI functionality aligned to business and financial requirements
• Support core financial processes including General Ledger (GL)
• Support core financial processes including Accounts Payable (AP)
• Support core financial processes including Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Support core financial processes including Asset Accounting (AA)
• Support Bank Accounting
• Support Financial Closing and Reporting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Work with finance and accounting teams to understand processes and translate requirements into SAP solutions
• Configure and support integration between SAP FI and CO, MM, SD, and other SAP modules
• Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions
• Support system enhancements, testing, documentation, user training, and deployment activities
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, enhancement, or support initiatives
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams on interfaces, reports, conversions, enhancements, and workflows
• Ensure SAP financial processes comply with internal controls, accounting standards, and business requirements
• Support financial processes related to manufacturing, inventory, procurement, sales, distribution, and supply chain operations

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP FI Functional Consultant
• Extensive knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing
• Strong understanding of FI integration with CO, MM, and SD
• Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring SAP, and supporting testing and deployment
• Experience working directly with finance and business stakeholders
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Food & Beverage Industry Experience (Highly Preferred)

• Prior experience supporting Food & Beverage or Consumer Products organizations, especially financial processes involving manufacturing and production
• Experience involving inventory valuation and material movements
• Exposure to cost of goods sold (COGS) processes
• Experience supporting procurement and vendor accounting
• Experience with customer billing and revenue recognition
• Experience covering product costing and profitability
• Experience with intercompany transactions
• Experience involving distribution and supply chain operations
• Experience with high-volume financial transactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, or Retail
• Experience with SAP CO, including cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and product costing
• Experience with SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation projects
• Knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls

Location: Los Angeles, CA (hybrid)

Compensation: USD 65 - 70 per hour
